A third TV ad targeting Latino voters by President Joe Biden's campaign ran in less than a month, CBS News reported. Latino voters were a crucial component of the coalition that elected Biden in 2020 and are now being targeted by Republican presidential candidates for the 2024 election, including former President Donald Trump.

The ad, titled “The Difference” or “LaDiferencia, will launch in key markets in key states such as Arizona, Nevada and Pennsylvania, as well as run on digital platforms in states such as Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina. The announcement highlights the differences between the two parties, arguing that the Republican agenda will hurt Latinos, while President Biden seeks to reduce costs and invest in Latino communities and their businesses.

The Biden campaign recognizes the political importance of Latinos and is aggressively investing to win their support. The aforementioned ad campaign is part of a $25 million investment by the Biden campaign to reach Latino and black voters in key areas of the national battlefield landscape, making it the largest ad purchase by a presidential campaign at this early stage of the primary cycle.

In response, the Republican National Committee said Democrats take the Hispanic/Latino community for granted but argued that those voters will continue to vote Republican because of past economic achievements, such as lower unemployment, higher homeownership rate and higher average incomes.

Biden's campaign also released an ad in Spanish the week before as part of Hispanic Heritage Month, highlighting its commitment to Latino workers and contrasting it with the GOP's record on employment and immigration policies.

“In an interview with CBS News […], Biden campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said the new ad was a way of reminding Latino voters of "the choice that they have before them: a president and the vice president that are fighting for Latino workers, and fighting to ensure that we're increasing wages and protections for Latino workers — versus, you know, Republican Party that continues to ship jobs overseas, that continues to attack immigrants, that continues to you know — it really has been just horrible for the American worker.”
