Prisca Dorcas Mojica Rodríguez has a rich trajectory and contributions as a feminist, theologian, storyteller, and activist. Born in Managua, Nicaragua, and currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee, Mojica Rodríguez earned her Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University School of Divinity in 2015. Since then, she has used her theological background and narrative skills to address and explain issues of systemic oppression in the United States, especially to college student audiences.

Her pedagogical approach combines the art of storytelling with critical theory to help people understand the power structures that perpetuate inequalities, such as racism, sexism, and religious trauma. As an immigrant and first-generation student, Mojica Rodríguez explores the difficulties and barriers these communities face in predominantly white systems, which were not designed for their success. She also highlights the limitations imposed by sexism on the development of girls and women, as well as critiquing Western notions of success, which she seeks to decolonize.

Prisca Dorcas Mojica Rodríguez is also the founder of the online platform Latina Rebels, created in 2013, which today has more than 300,000 followers. Her work and activism have gained prominence in major media outlets such as Telemundo, Univision, MTV, NBC, and Cosmopolitan. In addition, she has participated in major anthologies, including "Nevertheless, We Persisted" and "The Fearless Rise and Powerful Resonance of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez," edited by Lynda Lopez.

Her work has been recognized in several institutions and she has collaborated with organizations such as the United Methodist Church, National Endowment for the Arts, Smithsonian, NALAC and Planned Parenthood. In 2016, she was invited by the Obama administration to the White House, an important milestone in her career. Mojica Rodríguez is described as a fierce activist, who passionately and uncompromisingly defends the stories of Latino communities in the United States, unapologizing for her radical and assertive stance.

She is currently the author of two books published by Seal Press, a subsidiary of Hachette Book Group, continuing her mission to amplify the voices of Latina women and to combat the social injustices that permeate the structures of American society.
